Collection of Information
We may collect certain personal data, either directly from you or through third-party services such as Google Analytics, when you visit or interact with the Website, including:
- Your name and contact information, including a phone number, mailing address and/or email address.
- Your username and password, if you choose to create an account with us.
- Online identifiers including your browser information, device information, Internet Protocol (IP) address, information collected through cookies, pixel tags and other technologies, the day and time of your visit, which pages on our Website you visited and for how long.
- Your purchase history with us.
- Information you provide through the website when requesting information or contacting us.
- Information you provide in interacting with our social media pages.
- Information you provide when applying for a job with Nonni’s online.
We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
We collect credit card information during the checkout process for online purchases, but we immediately pass it along securely to a processing company for them to process. We do not process or retain credit card information.
Use of Information
We use the above information for many internal purposes, including responding to your inquiries, fulfilling your requests/orders, marketing our products and improving the Website. We use your contact information to send you your orders and information about your orders, our products, new offerings and promotional events. We use job applicant information to communicate about the application process. Online identifiers and cookies may be used to improve our Website. As described below, we do not process any payments, nor do we store information relating to payment or financial information.
Distribution of Information
We do not sell your personal information to others.
We do not share your personal information with others for targeted advertising, interest-based advertising or automated decision-making. The only advertising uses of personal information we collect are for advertising our own products, not those of others.
We do, however, use certain third-party vendors in connection with our business, such as for email communications, customer service, accounting, shipping/logistics, credit card processing, marketing, website analytics and IT security. These vendors may have access to your personal information if necessary for them to provide their services to us. All vendors only use your personal information for performing their service functions and are prohibited from using it for other purposes.
As noted above, we do not process credit card payments. These services are provided by a third-party vendor as described above. Your information is provided to such vendor solely for the purpose of processing payment for services.
We transfer and store information relating to the Website, including any personal data collected through the Website, in servers located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States. If legally required, the personal data may therefore be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authority of the United States and/or Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. By using the Website or otherwise communicating with us, you agree to have your personal data transferred to and stored in the United States.
We use reasonable physical, technological and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized or unlawful access, use, loss, destruction or damage. Examples include, but may not be limited to, encryption with SSL (secure sockets layer) technology, firewalls and password-protected access.
